Cosplay
Character, costume, and accessory design are a crucial part of visual storytelling. This makes Cosplay, (the practice of dressing up as a character from a film, book, or video game), a perfect art-form for a visual storyteller. I, NJ, and my lovely artistic partner and sibling, Bee, work as an ultimate cosplay duo, crafting, modeling and shooting or own cosplay photos. We also care deeply about the environmental impacts of the art we make, and chose to thrift, reuse, and recycle the materials we use. Our work is largely based around altered thrifted clothing; if you think outside the box the outcome can surprise you! This is our official cosplay gallery/portfolio.
